Cherokee County School District Class of 2012 graduates earned the highest ACT Scores in the District’s history, and their achievement marks the third consecutive year of increased performance. All CCSD high schools scored above the national average on the curriculum-based, college entrance and placement examination, which is taken by seniors either in lieu of the SAT or in conjunction with the SAT. The CCSD average ACT composite, or total, score has climbed to 22.7 from 20.8 over the past decade, more evidence of the clear trend of rising student achievement and teacher performance.
