Mill Creek Middle School Principal Elaine Daniel has won the 2011-12 Outstanding Principal Award presented by the Georgia PTA. Georgia PTA each year honors one Outstanding Principal of the Year in the categories of elementary, middle and high schools. The award recognizes principals who provide excellent support of local PTAs by personally participating in the organization and its programs and by encouraging parent participation in the PTA. Mrs. Daniel was nominated for the state award by the Mill Creek MS PTSA. A crystal trophy and certificate of recognition were presented to Mrs. Daniel at the Georgia PTA’s 2011-12 Convention held July 12-14, 2012 at the Classic Center in Athens.
