To improve critical thinking, logical thinking and reasoning including skills such as comparison, classification, sequencing, deductive and inductive reasoning, forecasting, planning, hypothesizing, and critiquing.  Creative thinking involves creating something new or original.  It involves the skill of flexibility, brainstorming, modification, imagery, associative thinking, metaphorical thinking, and forced relationships.

To enhance and enrich a student’s journey through mathematics by giving them the opportunity to challenge themselves in all types of math concepts, by providing additional learning activities.  It also gives students of all ability levels a chance to extend themselves beyond the mathematics curriculum and become more confident in math.
