Carmel Elementary School provides an After School Program (ASP) for its students from 2:30-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Various activities are planned daily and include homework time, computer lab, and inside/outside play time. Throughout the year, optional activities such as art, dance, guitar, Spanish, chess and sports will be offered by community experts for an extra fee.
The cost for ASP is $8.00 per child per day, which includes a snack and drink. After 10:00am, the drop-in fee is $12.00 per child. This is a PRE-PAID program. If a student is signed up for ASP and there are insufficient funds in the account, the parent will be charged the drop-in rate for that day or will be responsible for making alternate child-care arrangements.
Payment may be made by cash or check, made payable to “Carmel ASP”. There will be one account set up per family, so payment for multiple students may be combined.
Please note that there will be a charge for ASP if a child’s transportation is changed after 11:00am.
A $10.00 Late Fee will be charged for each 15-minute interval after 6:00pm, beginning at 6:01pm. Late fees are due at the time of pick-up. Three late pick-ups may result in suspension for the ASP program.
