National Junior Beta Club

Purpose

The purpose of the National Junior Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.

Projects/Activities

Students help plan for the service projects and prepare the materials needed.  Students participate in the induction ceremony.  Officers run much of the meetings and ceremony.   Students will work on getting 30 service hours of volunteer work this year. Students will discuss the volunteer opportunities in our school and in our community. In addition students help with supporting our troops with letter and supplies and helping with needy students/families during the holiday season.
The major fundraiser for the CMS National Jr.  Beta Club is the  Pennies for Patients program.
