The ACT is one of two tests colleges and universities use for determining acceptance.  The other test is the SAT.  The ACT is accepted by every school in the state of Georgia and each school will take the higher score, whether it is the SAT or the ACT.

The COMPASS test is designed for students who plan on attending a technical college.
