Last year, Hickory Flat Elementary School was selected to take part in a pilot program called "Bring Your Learning Device" (BYLD).  The students participating in this program this school year will be our Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth graders only.  This program will be used to learn and assess the value of enabling students to bring their Internet-assessible, mobile wireless devices to school for educational purposes.  Students will have direct supervision by their classroom teachers when using these devices.

TRUE BLUE SCHOOLS
