Parents,

Well the end of the school year is quickly approaching.  What an amazing first year we have had!  Many wonderful traditions were established which will continue for years to come.  I want to thank all of our stakeholders – parents, students and staff for their support and hard work in making Indian Knoll the best school in Cherokee County.

Of course, there are still a lot of fun activities awaiting us during the month of May.  Field Days, Awards Days, 6th grade promotion ceremony, and the Walk of Honor for our sixth grade students on the final day of school are just some of the highlights for the next few weeks.

We will be mailing postcards to our students some time during the month of July.  The postcard will announce each child’s new teacher, and will provide you with important information from both the school and our PTA.   Make sure that the school office has your correct mailing address prior to the last day of school.  You may also check the school webpage to access information in regards to school supplies, Meet the Teacher dates, PTA events, etc.

I look forward to working with the Indian Knoll community next year.

                                                     Dr. Ann Gazell, Principal
