GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Currently, two different graduation rules are in effect for students in Georgia Schools.  For  ninth grade students who started ninth grade this current school year (2008/2009) a new graduation rule is in effect.  Students who were retained in a ninth grade homeroom and students who are in a 10th, 11th, or 12th grade homeroom are under the old graduation rule (i.e. students who started 9th grade before 2008).  These graduation rules are different, so please make sure that you are looking at the correct information for your student.
