Student Portal
1. The student portal is the same as the family or parent portal. https://sis.cherokee.k12.ga.us/aspen/logon.do
2. Student logins are ALWAYS lower case in Aspen.
a. User name = 2 initials with 5 digit number (Ex. Df12345)
b. Password – originally ccsd2011 but students should change this when they log on for the first time.
3. Report incorrect information about the student’s demographics, contacts, photos, etc to the registrar in the front office.
4. Academic and Attendance misinformation should be reported to the teacher or attendance office
OFFICE 365 – also known as live.com
1. Student login information
a. User name = 2 initials with 5 digit number (same as student portal)@cherokeek12.net
b. Password = 1st time is ccsd2011. Then students can go to OPTIONS and change their password to match their login password.
2. Email address = 2 initials with 5 digit number @cherokeek12.net (df12345@cherokeek12.net) [Notice there is NO dot after Cherokee]
SKY DRIVE – The Sky drive will give students access to the cloud version of Word, Power Point, Excel and One Note. If they are working on a document at school they can open the Sky drive and add a document to their My Document folder and then work on that file at home using the software in the sky drive.
