Initial Credit Options
Georgia Virtual School (GAVS) is a supplemental school program that provides extensive course options for those students seeking to get ahead in their coursework, relieve scheduling conflicts or retake a previously failed course.
Currently GAVS offers almost 100 unique core curriculum, AP, and elective courses. Classes are offered on both block and semester formats. Summer terms are from 5-7 weeks depending on the start date. Students learn in a blended format where a certified teacher guides the student on a self-directed learning program.
The cost per 1/2 credit (.5 Carnegie unit) is $300.
