As I said when we began the week, we would not have been able to reopen schools in person, simultaneously launch a new Digital Learning program and start the school year on time without your patience, grace, flexibility and support.

“Our new online registration system has been a great success in its first year,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower said. “This new system not only is easier for parents to use, it also significantly improves our staff efficiency, increases the accuracy of important information and decreases our paper waste."

The easy process takes about 15 to 20 minutes, with the process even quicker for siblings after entering information for the initial student. Parents enter identification information, such as emergency contact names and numbers, into the secure system, and then have the opportunity to upload legally required documents for enrollment.

After entering all their information online, parents will make an appointment to bring in their legally required documents for verification to complete enrollment. If a parent is unable to upload the records from home, they can be scanned and uploaded by staff during this appointment.

More information about the process and required documents is posted here.
