5/25/18 Early Release Schedules for High Schools, Middle Schools

Posted On: Wednesday, May 16, 2018

Cherokee County School District high schools and middle schools will have early release days next week, which will affect traffic in the surrounding areas.

Students at all CCSD high schools have the option of leaving campus early following final exams on varied schedules (check with your child’s school if you need the schedule) beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 21, through Thursday, May 24. High school buses will continue to depart on their usual afternoon schedule. Middle and elementary school dismissal is not affected.

On the last day of school, Friday, May 25, all CCSD high schools and middle schools will dismiss on a half-day schedule, with buses departing early. Elementary school dismissal is not affected and will remain 2:15 p.m.

High school and middle school students and parents already have been advised of this schedule; this schedule is being shared with the community at large as a courtesy, as we know it will affect traffic patterns.
