Two CCSD Schools Earn State Safety Awards

Two CCSD schools have earned recognition from Safe Routes to School for their efforts to encourage students to walk and bike more and stay safe! 

Bascomb Elementary School and Clayton Elementary School both earned the Gold Partner Award from the nonprofit organization.

Safe Routes to School leads projects and activities to improve community safety, reduce traffic and air pollution around schools and encourage children to pursue healthy and active lifestyles.  It designs programs to improve the health and well-being of children by enabling and encouraging them to walk or bicycle to school.
