Twenty-seven Cherokee County School District schools have been named to the Governor’s SHAPE (Student Health and Physical Education) Honor Roll!

The recognition honors the commitment of schools to the health and well-being of students through fitness and nutrition.  The PE and Health teachers who made these awards possible will be recognized by the Cherokee County School Board and Superintendent of Schools at the Board’s Sept. 13 meeting.  Schools also receive prizes of banners and sports equipment from the SHAPE program based on the medal level they achieved.
