The Cherokee County School District invites parents of students who receive Special Education services to help improve schools by completing a survey.

The State’s Parent Satisfaction Survey asks parents of students who receive Special Education services how they feel about their child’s school and how it involves them in their child’s education.  An invitation to participate in this survey also will be emailed directly to parents.  This is not the same as the State’s school climate survey that all parents are asked to complete.

The data will be included in the State’s Annual Performance Report and the profile it creates for CCSD.

The survey, which is available in English and Spanish, is open to parents from Jan. 16 to May 31, 2019: http://www.gadoe.org/Curriculum-Instruction-and-Assessment/Special-Education-Services/Pages/Parent-Survey.aspx  If you choose to complete the survey on paper, copies are due to the Georgia Center for Assessment on or before May 31, 2019.

If you have problems with the online survey, email dticket@doe.k12.ga.us or call 800-869-1011.  If you have questions about the survey, email CCSD Executive Director of Special Education Charlette Green at charlette.green@cherokee.k12.ga.us.
