Boston Family,

Below, you will find the pick-up/drop off plan for Boston Elementary. This two day window will provide you with the opportunity to retrieve student items and also return borrowed laptops, return library books, and retrieve medications from our school nurse.  Please pay close attention to the day and time listed according to your child's last name

I ask that you have patience with us during these scheduled times, as we will be doing our very best to make your time on campus as short as possible by being as efficient as we can.  Please remember two words: patience and grace. ??  Please adhere to all requests below.  I have attached a printable version should you want to print out the plan.

Thank you for all you do! It’s GREAT to be a Boston Bear!

  1. Before arriving, please create a sign to put in the window of the car with the student’s last name and grade level. Please list all siblings on the same sign.  Use plain paper and large lettering.
  2. You will either enter the car rider line to the right, or bus lanes to the left. See below for explanation.
  3. Enter bus lanes to the left if you only need to return textbooks, library books, technology, or to pick up student medications.
  4. Enter car rider line to the right to pick up student belongings. (school supplies that were in their desk, etc.)
  5. Staff will hand off student belongings to the family while the family remains in the car.
  6. After receiving student belongings, if the family needs to return any items, the car will need to then enter the bus lanes. Please adhere to signage and staff member directive before pulling straight ahead into the bus lanes.
  7. If a family does not need to drop off a laptop, library books, or pick up medication from the nurse, the car will exit campus.

**Yearbooks will not be delivered until the summer, so we will not be able to distribute yearbooks until we return next school year.  Fifth graders moving to E.T. Booth (or another middle school) will be able to pick up their yearbooks at their middle school at the start of next school year.

**All laptops should be returned to Boston. Even if you checked it out from a different location, it should be returned to us.

**Your child’s medication must be signed out in order to take it. Please note, that any medications not picked up during the specified date and times will be disposed of. Medications will not be left at the school over the summer. If you have any questions or are unsure if your child has medication still at the school, please email the nurse at

**If you are moving, please see the attached document from our registrar, Retta Shaw.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
