Sean Czerner(8th) and Brayden Fuentres(8th) we selected to be part of the State Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. There were a total of four students selected from CCSD. Two of them are our Grizzlies - we are very proud of them.
Congratulations to these outstanding students, who we know will be excellent representatives for their schools and our School District on this important statewide council,” Cherokee County Superintendent of Schools said. “We look forward to seeing them further extend their influence as young leaders.”
Members were selected, from 1,000-plus applicants submitted by students statewide, based on their community service and answers to essay questions about public education and how it can improve. The students will talk with Superintendent Woods about topics including how State policies affect their classrooms; participate in service projects; and serve as the Superintendent’s student ambassadors.
