Todd Sharrock, Principal Mr. Todd Sharrock, Principal

My name is Todd Sharrock and I am honored to lead the Falcon Family as the Principal of E.T. Booth Middle School.  I began my educational career over 20 years ago in 1997 as a Computer Science Connections teacher at Union County Middle School in Blairsville, GA.  Since that time, I have held both faculty and administrative positions at Young Harris College and North Georgia Technical College.  In 2008 I joined the CCSD Family as a science teacher at Creekview High School, teaching both Anatomy and Biology courses, co-sponsoring the school’s Aeronautics Team, and serving as the science department head.  After eight years at Creekview, I made the move to Woodstock High School as an Assistant Principal in charge of Career Tech education and eventually Curriculum.  In 2018, I was selected to be a part of the Superintendent’s Leadership Academy III, which helped my growth as a leader and helped to prepare me for the role of Principal.  In March of 2019 I was selected to serve as the principal of E.T. Booth.

Originally from Hobe Sound, FL, my family moved to Blairsville, GA when I was six years old.  My elementary through high school years were completed in Union County School System, and afterwards, I earned my A.S. in Biology from Young Harris College, my B.S. in Biology and M.Ed. from the University of North Georgia, my Ed.S. from Lincoln Memorial University, and my Leadership Endorsement from Kennesaw State University.

I am honored to be a part of the Falcon Family and the amazing Booth Community.  I intend to use my passion for education and my experience to serve the students, parents, and faculty of E.T. Booth with integrity. If there is anything I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to contact me by phone at 770.721.5500 or by email at todd.sharrock@cherokeek12.net.  Go Falcons!

I began my career in 2004, teaching 7th grade Math and Science with the Carroll County School District. In 2006, I made the move to the Cobb County School District to fill the role as a 6th grade Math teacher at East Cobb Middle School. While at ECMS, I stayed in the Math classroom enjoying my time with both 6th and 8th grade students. I made the move to Administration in 2011. I served as an Assistant Principal at Cooper Middle School from 2011-2015. In 2015, I transferred to Dodgen Middle School where I served from 2015-2020.

In 2010 I completed my Specialists in Educational Leadership while still attending UWG. My husband and I have been residents of Cherokee County, with our three children for ten years. The “big kids” are very active in the community and keep us busy on the weekends while our youngest is usually along for the ride (for now). We love baseball and are big Braves fans.

I am so excited to get to serve the school district we all call home. I look forward to meeting everyone soon and getting to know more about the E.T. Booth family and community! I can be contacted at 770-721-5500 or via email at tia.bryller@cherokeek12.net.
