Cherokee County School District high schools and middle schools will have early release days later this month, which will affect traffic in the surrounding areas.

Students at all CCSD high schools have the option of leaving campus early following final exams on varied schedules beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23 through Wednesday, May 29.  High school buses will continue to depart on their usual afternoon schedule.  Middle and elementary school dismissal is not affected.

On the last day of school, Wednesday, May 29, all CCSD high schools and middle schools will dismiss on a half-day schedule, with buses departing early.  Elementary school dismissal is not affected and will remain 2:15 p.m.  The After School Program will not be offered at any elementary schools on May 29.

High school and middle school students and parents already have been advised of this schedule; this schedule is being shared with the community at large as a courtesy, as we know it will affect traffic patterns.
