Transportation staff Vickie Ghorley and Angie Goff, with Janet Read of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, serve up chicken biscuits and other goodies for school bus drivers.
October 21-25 is National School Bus Safety Week, and this is also the time we honor our school bus drivers and thank them for the great job they do keeping children safe on the ride to and from school. Thanks to sponsors Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Chick-fil-A restaurants in Cherokee County, CCSD drivers were treated to breakfast on Tuesday and given Chick-fil-A gift cards and a bag of treats. CCSD schools also held special events or provided tokens of thanks for their drivers.
