CCSD recognized its school bus drivers on Tuesday morning with a drive-through breakfast and gifts.  CCSD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Hightower visited with drivers at two bus maintenance facilities, passing out Chick-fil-A biscuits and goody bags from sponsors.  Dr. Hightower was joined by School Board Chair Kyla Cromer, School Board Member Patsy Jordan, Chief Operations Officer Dr. Debra Murdock, Chief of Staff Mike McGowan and Director of Transportation Jim Georges, along with support from School Nutrition and School Police.  Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta sponsored breakfast, with “swag bag” gifts donated by Chick-fil-A, Marco’s Pizza and Stars and Strikes.  A gallery of photos from the event can be viewed here.
