UPDATE 6/2/2021: CCSD Summer School Course Registration is now closed. To participate in late registration, please visit the appropriate summer school site, Cherokee High School or Etowah High School on June 3, 2021 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
CCSD High School 2021 Summer School will be offered from June 3-23, 2021 with options for Credit Recovery and Initial Credit as detailed below. More detailed registration information will be released in mid-April.
Credit Recovery
- Face to Face Credit Recovery at Etowah and Cherokee daily (9:00am-1:00pm)
- Fully Digital Credit Recovery classes with face to face teacher support (9:00am-1:00pm)
- Students may register for a maximum of 2 courses
- Cost of each course will be $200.
- Registration will begin in May via the CCSD Website.

Initial Credit for Personal Fitness and Health
Cherokee County School District will offer an opportunity for rising ninth graders to take Personal Fitness (in person; 9:00am-1:00pm) at two locations: Cherokee HS (for Cherokee, Creekview and Sequoyah students) and Etowah HS at Etowah East (for Etowah, River Ridge and Woodstock students). The Health course will also be offered as a fully virtual option. Cost of each course will be $200. Registration will begin in May via the CCSD Website. High students who need to take these courses are also eligible to register via the CCSD Website.
