Congratulations to 4th Grade Teacher Angela Barnes who is the Indian Knoll Elementary School Staff Member of the Month for September. Ms. Barnes recently transformed her room into a football stadium and students worked to complete their English Language Arts Playbook! She divided the day into four quarters- each focused on a different ELA standard. The student engagement was amazing, and the students had an excellent time learning and collaborating. She also recently took initiative to construct an interactive instructional pacing guide for her teammates. Angela always goes the extra mile to make learning interactive. We are so fortunate to have her as a valued part of our Firebird family. She was presented a Woodstock Bucks gift certificate from Partner in Education TPG Keller Williams, and an additional treat from our IKES PTA. Keep up the great work Angela!  We are super proud of your efforts.
