Membership Requirements:  4th-5th Grades; Application is required as well as a t-shirt fee
Meeting Schedule: Both 4th and 5th grade 4-H meets on the first Fridays of the month from 2:30 – 4:00 from September-November and January-March.

Mission: 4-H is an educational program focusing on leadership, citizenship, public speaking and life skills. We are the youth component of the University of Georgia's Cooperative Extension. 4-H began as a corn and tomato club, but has evolved to teach nutrition, financial management, EST (engineering, science, and technology) and agriculture and environmental awareness, while promoting teamwork. Along with the educational component of the meeting, real life scenarios are incorporated to stimulate the students' thought processes. We encourage each student to incorporate the "seeds" of character in their daily lives... trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

Activities: Johnston 4-H students will be learning and focusing on agricultural studies. They will work on a project throughout meeting dates that will culminate in March.
