Principals took a break from a morning of professional development Tuesday for a lunch sponsored by First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Just prior to the lunch, three retiring CCSD principals were honored before their peers by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower for their service to the children of Cherokee County.  David Childress of Woodstock MS, Cindy Crews of Sixes ES, and Tammy Sandell of Knox ES STEM Academy were given a standing ovation by their fellow principals for their combined 87 years of service as teachers and administrators in the Cherokee County School District.
