Watching these first graders use a number line (all on their own!) while adding and subtracting within 20 thrilled my teacher heart!
They were also ecstatic to use Nearpod for the first time
4th graders have won the lottery and are planning their Dream Vacation with a budget of $10,000.
They’re practicing research skills (flight, hotel, itinerary) and collecting photos through their research to put together a presentation for classmates.
Sorry parents, many kiddos chose NOT to bring their parents along on their dream vacation ??
More first grade cuties AMAZED by Nearpod and rocking addition and subtraction!
5th graders started researching careers using Math today.
They are tasked with choosing a career that interests them and choosing a digital tool to create a presentation for their peers.
Some careers students are interested in are mechanical engineering, air traffic controller, animator, forensic analyst, and biophysicists.
They are considering using digital presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe Spark posters and videos, and creating their own video using the green screen.
Can’t wait to see their finished products!
Math Madness Club did glow in the dark Geometry! Students created repeating patterns and found out why honeybees use hexagons.
They use the least amount of wax to hold the most weight?
