DEADLINE to email Mrs. Tolan your essay: Friday, November 4th.

Length of Essay: 250-300 words

Topics of Choice:

  1. You have grown up with technology all around you. Write about what it has been like to grow up in the digital age. Would you change anything about the use of technology among your peers? If so, what would you want to be different?
  2. There are 26 million STEM jobs in the U.S. – 20% of all U.S. jobs. STEM professionals are engineers, software developers, roboticists, scientists, and mathematicians, among many others. Each of these occupations is furthering our understanding of the universe and literally building the future. Many current STEM professions didn’t even exist ten years ago, and ten years from now there will almost certainly be jobs we can’t imagine now. What excites you the most about STEM opportunities in careers of the future?
