Good Afternoon Parents and Students!

Thank you to all the parents who attended the PTSA Open House and Curriculum Night. We have one week until fall break and focus IS the key.  Students focus on being present, being prepared and communicating with teachers to make sure you are on track. Parents and students remember we have peer tutoring available for all core subjects in the East Wing please contact Ms. Heather Barton heather.barton@cherokeek12.net for information and times.

PTSA Reflections

What is Reflections?

"The Reflections Arts Recognition Program is a national arts recognition and achievement program for students sponsored by PTA.  In showcasing and celebrating student talent, the Reflections Program increases community awareness of the importance of the arts in education." 

What kind of artwork can be submitted?

Original artwork that interprets the 2019-2020 theme "Look Within" may be submitted in one or more of the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Visual Arts, and Photography.  

The theme for this year's PTA Reflections Program is "Look Within".  Etowah PTSA is looking for student entries in the areas of Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Visual Arts and Photography.  

Please read below for links to Official Rules.  The Student Entry Form is attached.

Entries are due to the Main Office by Tuesday, October 1st in the Main EHS Office. 

Please follow requirements and instructions specific to each art category and division by referring to the link below.  


When are entries judged? Judging will take place on Thursday, October 3rd and the winning 9th-12th grade entries will advance to compete against the other Cherokee County High Schools in the County Reflections competition. Please note that entries that place in 1st through 3rd place at the County level and Special Artists will be invited to the Cherokee County Reflections Ceremony in November.
