Connecting to Canvas at Home

Please have students follow these directions when connecting to Canvas at home:

  • After you have entered the password for your home Wi-Fi, wait a full TWO minutes before opening any programs.
  • During these two minutes, Internet Explorer or a Network may pop-up. This is normal. Do not close or open anything for TWO minutes.
  • For Canvas, USE CHROME ONLY.
  • After you open Chrome, it may appear to spin and not be actively opening. This is normal. Wait at least 1 minute.
  • It may ask for user credentials. Enter your username and password.
