A Cherokee County School District teacher has been elected to serve on a state board of educators.

Woodstock High School teacher Jamie Vogan was tapped by her peers to serve on the Executive Board of the Georgia Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) association.

The organization for Georgia’s ESOL teachers offers networking, awards and grant programs, and professional development opportunities, including an annual conference.
